Angel Baby Gowns

We are currently designing patterns and gathering supplies for this worthy project to be supportive of nearby families who have lost the littlest of souls far too soon. 
 

Donated wedding dresses, delicate fabrics, and tiny notions will be transformed into exquisite infant burial gowns, also called Angel Baby Gowns.  These gowns will be offered to various hospitals, birthing centers, funeral homes, and directly to local grieving families completely free of charge. 

We have amazing volunteers who set aside some of their time in the hopes of providing just a little comfort to families going through the unthinkable tragedy of losing a baby.  With 1 in 4 pregnancies ending in a loss, there's no shortage of grieving families who could use some compassion.  Our volunteers are thinking of creative ways to raise money to help make this Compassion Project sustainable. 

We believe every child who leaves this earth should be clothed with dignity, respect and beauty. These gowns are likely the only clothing this child will ever wear; baptism/dedication, prom, wedding and funeral garments all in one very special angel gown. 

Our gowns are available in both genders as well as gender neutral and in 5 sizes.

-Micro Preemie (approx. 1-2 lbs.)

-Small (approx. 2-3 lbs.)

-Medium (approx. 4-6 lbs.)

-Large (approx. 6-8 lbs.)

 There will be a wide variety of styles; no two will be exactly the same.

The gowns will open in the back and secure via ribbon ties 

 

 We will also offer Angel Pouches for infants too tiny and delicate for a gown.  

Those will come in 4 Teeny Tiny sizes:   4”  6"  8" 10"
